Cambridge English examinations are the most valuable language qualifications in the world, recognised by more than 20,000 universities, companies and governments.

Successful candidates receive a certificate that is awarded by the University of Cambridge English Examinations. You will also be able to access your results online, including a profile showing how you performed in each skills area.

We offer a range of examinations for learners of all ages and abilities:

Adult examinations, from elementary to advanced levels;
For Schools examinations, with content and language adapted to suit school students; and
Young Learners examinations, specially tailored for children just starting on their English studies

For most examinations, we can offer both the traditional paper-based, and the more recent computer-based versions, The content is the same, but taking a computer-based test allows you to sign up later and to get your results earlier.

Examination levels are described according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which is used around the world to describe learners’ language skill. If you are not sure what level is right for you, you can test your English language level here

Based on everyday language and topics of interest to children, these tests are a fun way for children to gain confidence and improve their English. There is no pass or fail- all children receive a certificate which celebrates their achievements. The Starters exam is for children who are just starting to learn English. When they’re ready they can move on to Cambridge English: Movers (YLE Movers), the second test in the range.
